HARTFORD — It’s a boy for FOX CT traffic reporter Rachel Lutzker and her husband Dave.
Alexander arrived at 10:35 a.m. Monday at a Hartford hospital. The baby weighed in at 6 pounds, 14 ounces and sleeping like, well, a baby. Mom and son are doing well.
“He’s a tiny peanut,” Lutzker said Monday night. “He’s 18 inches.”
Alexander will be called Alex when he heads home to meet his 2-year-old sister Samantha, who so far is anxious to meet her new brother, Lutzker said.
“We both just loved Alex as a name,” she said.
The baby’s middle name is Lawrence, after Lutzker’s father, who died when she was 13.
Lutzker, who also hosts the evening show WHCN-FM radio, expects to return to work at Fox CT and the radio station in March.
“I’ll be hanging at home with him and Sam and enjoying the winter,” she said.
