This time of year most boats have been shrink wrapped and put in storage. But one hardy bunch of sailors in Essex finds the changing  weather of the season to be perfect for a Regatta.

The Frostbite Yacht Club holds races every Sunday from October till early December. And last weekend they just finished up their 80th season. If you missed the fall season, don’t worry.  Log on to www.fbyc.org for the start of the spring session and see when the the sight of sailboats will once again dot the Connecticut River.
