BRIDGEPORT — A city police officer suffered a gunshot wound to his leg after what police described as an accidental discharge of his handgun.
The officer was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police are still investigating the incident and had little information available. The incident occurred on Main Street.
