Ryan Ginty from Team Rubicon talks about how the organization helps veterans transition back to civilian life by pairing them with first responders to deploy emergency response teams to help victims of natural disasters.
Since its creation in January 2010, Team Rubicon has impacted thousands of lives in Haiti, Chile, Burma, Pakistan, Sudan and across the United States in places like Vermont, Maryland, Missouri and Alabama.
Domestically, Team Rubicon’s efforts focus on expedient home and infrastructure repair, flood recovery and debris management. Internationally, Team Rubicon’s volunteers have performed everything from medical relief and training to water and sanitary health operations and refugee camp management.
