As we begin the day on Christmas Eve temperatures have corrected themselves. After two days of high temperatures close to 60 degrees, we carve them almost in half on Tuesday. Even with sunshine don’t expect to get out of the mid to upper 30s for highs.
A lot of requests and demands for a White Christmas – the best we can do is a stray flurry or snow shower Tuesday evening in southwest Connecticut – not enough to coat the ground, and not enough to even be widespread. If you see a flake fly, consider yourself one of the lucky ones.
Wednesday’s highs on Christmas will be even colder – even with the sunshine – expect the temps to stay under freezing. They rebound by the end of the week – under a spell of quiet weather for the next few days.
