Sunday Weather: Rain To Clear Out Around Midnight

DayPlannerAfter a dry morning, rain began to fall at around noon, with the heaviest expected between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The storm will gradually end tonight, with a total rainfall of about 1 to 1.5 inches. High temperatures reached about 40 with lows overnight in the 30s.

As the week goes on, temperatures will continue to get colder and we are looking at the real possibility of some snow on Thursday or Friday. A developing low pressure system, fed by the merging of the polar and subtropical jet streams, is making this all possible.

It’s still a few days away, so be wary of those talking about snow amounts with certainty. Until then, it’ll be rainy and cold for the upcoming week.
