State police issued more than 1,500 tickets and arrested 18 people for drunken driving over the holidays.
Between Dec. 20 and Jan. 2, troopers investigated 84 accidents, according to a release from state police — 18 with injuries, but no fatal crashes.
They issued 560 speeding tickets, 16 seat belt citations and 1,040 hazardous moving citations, the release states.
