A cold front will cross the region Tuesday with a few rain showers that will usher in seasonably cold temperatures for January. Some computer models are hinting at a storm that will form on the cold front and track northeast up the New England coast, delivering snow or a mix of snow and rain by Wednesday. A mid-winter chill will follow the storm by the end of the week.
