Bloomfield Police Seek Vehicle That Struck, Badly Hurt Pedestrian

BLOOMFIELD — A local man was badly injured Thursday night when he was struck by a vehicle as he walked along Mountain Avenue near Gabb Road.

Police were called to that area at 8:20 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian struck and found Tyree Lee, 28, of Downing Circle. He told police he was walking west on Mountain Avenue when he was struck by a tan or light colored vehicle.

Police said the vehicle, which continued west on Mountain Avenue after the collision, may have front hood and windshield damage as a result of hitting Lee.

Lee suffered an fracture to his lower left leg and multiple compound fractures to his upper right arm.
