BROOKFIELD — One person was killed and two injured after a head-on crash caused by a wrong-way driver on northbound Route 7 in Brookfield, state police said.
The wrong-way driver was killed and two passengers in a Jeep were injured and taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles were destroyed.
Those injured were identfied as Michael Finn, 39, of Brookfield, and Meghan Harrison, 29, of New Milford.
State police did not release the identity of the man killed in the crash, pending notification of next of kin. They did say he was from Ansonia.
