Fugitive From Puerto Rico Caught In Norwich

NORWICH — Police said they have captured a man wanted for attempted murder in Puerto Rico.

Pedro Salcedo, 24, was held on $1.5 million bail as a fugitive from justice and will be presented in Superior Court in Norwich on Tuesday.

Police said Salcedo is wanted by San Juan police in Puerto Rico for attempted murder with a gun, two counts of conjugal abuse and aggravated conjugal abuse of a minor. He was arrested during a traffic stop.
