After another snowstorm on Tuesday, the city of Hartford is continuing to work to remove snow from sidewalks and cart away the massive piles of snow that have accumulated on street corners.

The I-91 corridor saw between three and six inches of snow. A parking ban in the city ended at 4 p.m. and crews have been hard at work to clear streets and school parking lots in time for students to head back to class. All Hartford schools were closed Tuesday due to the snow.

Hartford police have been towing cars that violate the parking ban all winter long. If your car gets towed it will cost you about $200. When a ban is in effect, the city offers parking at school lots, but once the ban is over and the streets are plowed the cars need to be moved back.
