GLASTONBURY — A local man faces a host of burglary and larceny charges after police say he burglarized his neighbors’ homes to steal items to feed his drug addiction.

Daniel L. Taylor, 29, of Whapley Road, was charged for six burglaries in his neighborhood that occurred in late 2013. He was already jailed on other burglary, larceny and narcotic charges.

He’s in custody on $95,000 bail on charges that include six counts of third-degree burlary, six counts of larceny, and felony possession of narcotics. He was arraigned Tuesday at Superior Court in Manchester.

In some cases, Taylor went into unlocked homes, said Glastonbury police Agent James Kennedy. In others, he forced his way in, Kennedy said.

“He lived in the neighborhood and knew when people were coming and going,” Kennedy said.
