Congratulations! You almost made it through another New England winter (at least according to the calendar).
Spring begins on Thursday and the new season will get off to a mild start. Showers will exit early in the morning with clouds breaking for sunshine and high temperatures in the 50s for most of the state. Friday and Saturday will remain around or above average for this time of year. But winter cold is lurking around the corner for early next week with temperatures tumbling back into the 30s.
Tonight: Rain developing, some heavy. A brief wintry mix possible, mainly in northern Connecticut. Low: 32-36.
Tomorrow: Clouds break for some sunshine, becoming partly cloudy and milder. High temperatures in the lower 50s.
Friday: Mostly sunny, pleasant. High temperatures in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees.
Saturday: A mix of sun and clouds, chance for a shower or two. Mild. High temperatures in the low to mid 50s.
Sunday: Partly to mostly sunny, a bit cooler. High temperatures in the lower 40s.
Monday: Sunny but cold! High temperatures struggling in the low to middle 30s.
