After 46 years as a reporter and anchor in Conecticut, veteran broadcaster Al Terzi retired from the FOX CT anchor desk at the end of March. He will continue to co-host “The Real Story,” a political talk show with FOX CT’s Laurie Perez on Sunday mornings.

Terzi, 72, said he began thinking about scaling back his career a few months ago when he and his wife Carolyn began making travel plans for their 50th wedding anniversary this year.

Terzi, who began his career as a radio deejay in 1960, made the move to television in 1967 as a weatherman. He worked at WTNH and WFSB before joining FOX CT in July, 2012.
