HARTFORD — Police are looking for a man who robbed a pizza deliveryman at gunpoint Monday afternoon.
The holdup happened shortly before 4 p.m. at 130 Putnam St., Sgt. William Mooney said. The deliveryman arrived with an order, and the man pointed a gun at him and stole two medium pizzas, sodas and $75, he said.
The deliveryman was not injured.
The robber fled and the deliveryman returned to A-1 Pizza, where he called police.
The thief was described as between 20-30 years old and 5 feet 6 or 5 feet 7 tall with a medium complexion, Mooney said. He wore a black, puffy jacket.
