One of the world’s biggest automakers announced another huge recall.
Toyota said well over six million of its cars globally need service work after uncovering five potentially faulty parts.
27 Toyota models, including the RAV4 and the Yaris, are affected.
The recall also extends to the Pontiac Vibe and the Subaru Trezia.
Affected car owners should expect notification in the mail. Recalls can also be searched on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website.
“You want to get a vehicle into a local dealership to have it repaired right-away,” James Fleming, President of the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association, said.
The automakers cover all the costs for recall work, so consumers don’t pay a dime.
