This could cause rain to mix in or change over to a bit of sleet and snow in spots before ending prior to sunrise Wednesday. I don’t expect much accumulation. But there could be some slippery spots for the Wednesday morning commute. With temperatures tanking below freezing, wet roads could change to icy roads. The rest of the day Wednesday will be sunny but noticeably cooler with high temperatures in the 40s for most of the state! The really cold air doesn’t last long. 50s return Thursday with near 60 degree temps by the weekend.
