On April 8, the suspect kicked in a door on the second story of the building and rummaged through drawers in the salon, police said. Nothing of value was reported missing.

The burglar is described as a white male in his 20s with short, dark hair and a chin strap beard. He wore a light-colored zip-up sweatshirt, jeans, black and white sneakers and a light backpack. He also held a light-colored sock in his right hand.

He was last seen walking north toward the Berlin Turnpike near the Wethersfield border.
