Radar – Showers in western Connecticut, moving into Hartford County.  Several more lines of showers across New York and Pennsylvania will move through Connecticut this evening and taper off after midnight.  Don’t be too surprised if you hear a rumble of thunder, but no severe storm is expected this evening.

Overnight: Partly cloudy to clear with lows in the 40s by sunrise Sunday.

Sunday: A repeat of Saturday except that more numerous showers and a few thunderstorms will develop as a cold front move through the state.  Some of these showers and storms Sunday could produce gusty winds and even some hail as the atmosphere will become extremely unstable.

Next Week

The front moves on by Sunday night with skies clearing out and temperatures dropping back in the low 40s by Monday morning.  High pressure builds into the region early in the workweek with plenty of sunshine and a gradual warming trend.  Highs will average in the mid-upper 60s on Monday and Tuesday to the low 70s by Wednesday and Thursday.  Overnight lows will average in the 40s.  A warm front will try to move in our direction by next Friday with a couple showers.
