It’s not the Manchester Road Race, it’s more of a Manchester crawl.
It’s the fifth year of the “Taste of Manchester.” Patrons ride shuttle buses and sample fare at popular restaurants like Hartford Road Pizza, Rocco’s, and Corey’s Catsup and Mustard.
This year a record 20 restaurants are involved. The proceeds are going to the Manchester Dog Owners Group (MDOG) and will help fund the next phase of the town’s dog park.
“We actually set it up for that general purpose,” said Dennis Reinholt, one of the Taste of Manchester’s organizers and a member of MDOG’s board. “To get the community together, to support the downtown businesses, local restaurants, things like that,” Reinholt added.
Upwards of 400 tickets were sold to this year’s Taste of Manchester at $20 per ticket.
