NEW LONDON — A N.Y. man with a loaded gun was arrested after he threatened someone in Long Island and said he was going to kill his brother-in-law in Massachusetts, local police said.
Authorities asked New London police to intercept Shawn Douglas, 42, as he got off the ferry, which they did, said Steven Crowley, a New London police captain.
Douglas had a fully loaded, .40-caliber pistol, he said.
He was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, breach of peace and possession of marijuana.
