STONINGTON — Northbound I-95 in Stonington reopened about 10 a.m. Saturday, hours after a crash and fire involving two tractor-trailers caused the highway to be shut down.
The crash occurred about 4 a.m. between exits 90 and 91 when a truck hauling produce struck the back of a truck hauling used tires. The truck hauling produce caught fire and was destroyed, state police said.
