It was a tale of two parts of the state Sunday. Most of you saw lots of warm sunshine, but along the I-395 corridor, severe thunderstorms moved north to south in the afternoon.
Now, as we begin to wrap up the Memorial Day holiday, Monday promises to be the hottest, and likely the driest, of the three day weekend. Lots of sunshine and a breezy southwest wind dominate the day, with highs getting well into the 80s, especially off the shoreline, which is well above normal. An isolated shower is possible, but will be the exception and not the rule.
How long is this going to last? Not very. A better chance of rain Tuesday will cool the temps back down to the 60s by midweek, hovering just below normal through next weekend.
