The name Sue Bird is familiar to any WNBA fan, and especially any UConn fan. But it has been over a year since she has played in Connecticut.
She has missed games not due to scheduling, but injury. This past weekend she made her first trip back to the Nutmeg State and talked to photojournalist Freddie Matthis about her return to the court .
