It’ll be another chilly start to the day today, with temperatures in the 40s to around 50 degrees.
We will get numerous chances for showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. Some of those thunderstorms could have small hail with lightning and downpours.
This weekend looks good overall. There may be a brief shower on Saturday, but most of the day will be dry. High pressure then builds in to deliver us some of our most pleasant in a while. Sunday and Monday bring some better weather to New England, with more summer-like temperatures expected. Expect highs around 80 inland, near 70 at the beaches.
Tuesday there will likely be showers and thunderstorms during the day, but temperatures will stay nearly summer-like in the 70s to around 80 degrees. We then keep those highs around 80 for Wednesday.
