About the CT Complete Streets Campaign
Bike Walk Connecticut has launched a new project to improve safety and mobility for bicyclists and pedestrians by implementing “complete streets” across Connecticut. The project is funded through a federal CDC grant administered by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
Public Opinion Survey, Scorecard, Workshop Bike Walk Connecticut is conducting a statewide public opinion survey about residents’ perceptions of their towns’ bike- and walk-friendliness; publishing a town-by-town scorecard early this summer; and hosting an initial workshop bringing together people from communities that are already working to implement complete streets with others who want to improve biking and walking in their community. Bike Walk CT expects to conduct these surveys and issue the scorecard annually for the next five years.
