Showers and thunderstorms will become more prevalent overnight as a warm front will cross the area, ushering in a more humid air mass. A cold front will spark another round of showers and thunderstorms Friday night followed by a dry and sunny weekend.
Once the warm front moves north of Connecticut Friday morning, dew point temperatures will jump into the humid 60s and the sun may try to shine through the clouds.
The good news is we will have another great weekend as pressure will dominate all of southern New England and the Northeast with bright sunshine comfortable levels of humidity and daytime highs in the low 80s, overnight lows in the 50s.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, very humid with a few showers in the morning, and late afternoon/evening. High: 75-80. Wind: S 10-15 mph.
Weekend: Mostly sunny, dry and pleasant. Highs in the upper 70’s to low 80’s, lows in the 50’s.
