According to police, they met because of a Craigslist posting that a computer tablet was for sale. It ended in a murder.
22-year-old Rashad Moon is the accused. He’s from Hartford and police arrested him yesterday. He’s being charged with murder robbery and conspiracy. Police say back in May of last year the victim – 39 year old Felix Dejesus was on Allendale Street and he had put up a message on the website advertising that he had the tablet and wanted to sell it.
According to police, Moon wanted that tablet but didn’t want to barter or pay for the item, he wanted to steal it and from that came the shooting. Dejesus was killed, and until this week, this has been an open case but Hartford police say Moon is their man.
Police haven’t said how they made the connection between Moon, Dejesus and the for sale electronic tablet, but Moon is being held on $1 million bond.
