The Hartford Courant, Fox CT, The Conference of Churches and the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center are hosting a Key Issues Forum to look at where Connecticut is on the spectrum of race equity. How “color blind” are we?

The event will be held Tuesday, June 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the 224 auditorium at The Conference of the Churches, located at 224 Farmington Ave., Hartford.

The panelists include:

  • Lois Brown, chair of the African American Studies Program at Wesleyan University
  • Adrienne W. Cochrane, president and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Hartford
  • William A. Howe, manger of civil rights programs for the State Department of Education
  • Orlando Rodriguez, legislative analyst at the Latino and Puerto Rican Affairs Commission
