A beautiful Friday on tap across Connecticut with plenty of sunshine, low humidity and comfortable temperatures. Highs reaching the upper 70s to near 80 degrees this afternoon.
Cool High Pressure over Eastern Canada will dominate our weather today and through the weekend with bright sunny days, low humidity and clear cool nights. Daytime high temperatures will average in the upper 70s to low 80s, while overnight lows will average in the comfortable 50s, making for good sleeping weather.
High pressure will slowly drift off the Mid-Atlantic coast next week. That will allow for a return southwest flow around the backside of the high that will transport a warmer and increasingly humid air-mass. Temperatures gradually warm-up into the mid and upper 80s by the middle of next week.
