A warmer and more humid air mass will move back into Connecticut with heat indices approaching and exceeding 90 degrees when the humidity is factored in. A cold front will approach our region on Wednesday with a band of showers and thunderstorms that will bring relief to the high heat and humidity. Thus, less humid air will return to the Northeast by the end of this week. Typical early July summer weather without the extremes.
