A warmer and more humid air mass has moved back into Connecticut with heat indices approaching and exceeding 90 degrees when the humidity is factored in. A cold front will approach our region on Wednesday with a band of showers and thunderstorms that will bring relief to the high heat and humidity. Thus, less humid air will return to the Northeast by the end of this week. Typical early July summer weather without the extremes.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds, hot and humid, chance for a few late day thunderstorms. High: near 90.
Thursday and Friday: Partly to mostly sunny, warm and less humid. High: mid-upper 80s.
