Portland Trailblazer Wesley Matthews Kicks Off The 2014 Greater Hartford Pro Am Basketball Showcase

The 2014 Greater Hartford Pro Am got under way tonight at Crosby High School in Waterbury.
The season kicked off with a big time NBA notable. Portland Trailblazer Wesley Matthews playing for Hot 93.7.
And he made his presence known quickly. Comes up court and calmly pulls from behind the arc for three.
For  St Marys in blue Walter Wright turns on the jets and gets to the hoop for the bucket and the foul for the three the hard way.
Then Matthews working inside too. Flashes the lane and throws down the monster two hand dunk. As Hot 93.7 goes on to win 102-90.
The first game of the night was high energy  as well. Trinity Bantam Jaquan Starks drives strong to the hole with the kiss of the glass in the first half for the All Faith All Stars.
In the second half now UNH Charger Eric Anderson outlets to Vaughn Allen who gives it back with the no look for Anderson who finishes strong with one hand.As Attorney Freeman would tie the game.
All STars had just enough CCSU Blue Devil Andrew Hurd with the pretty dime finds Ed Ogundeko from Trinity for the easy two as the the All Faith All stars win 114-110.
