Report: Faulty Equipment Blamed In Manchester Woman Parasailing Death

Faulty equipment was to blame in the death of a Manchester woman killed in a 2012 Florida para-sailing accident.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported that the para-sailing company provided equipment that was frayed and unsafe.

The 43-page report showed a picture of the threadbare harness, with its frayed straps, a blue covering on the seat and a waist pad that was worn out enough to reveal white padding underneath. The waist belt also was deteriorated from sun exposure, the report said.
