The Mansfield Board of Education voted to keep investigating Superintendent Frederick Baruzzi at a special meeting yesterday.
While the district investigates the situation Baruzzi will be put on administrative leave and Rachel Leclerc, the director of the special education and student support services for all schools in the Mansfield district, will take on the superintendent’s responsibilities.
The investigation involves money that Baruzzi received from the district as reimbursement for mileage that was added on his personal car while he was driving for work-related meetings.
The district is evaluating how it wants to deal with mileage reimbursement moving forward.
