Facts of the case:

Kyle Seidel was a married father of three small children. On the night of December 21st, 2012 he left home to pick up Chinese food for his family after 7 pm. Kyle never came home but at 8 pm his body was discovered outside of his vehicle on the ground in the parking lot of the Family Bowl bowling alley in Waterford, Connecticut. Kyle had been shot and was dead in the parking lot.

Waterford Police arrived on scene and began their investigation into this murder. They had the crime scene and recovered evidence from the crime scene but they had no suspects and no witnesses were located at the time of the discovery of this crime. With no witness or suspect information to assist in the investigation of this murder all the police had to go on was the evidence secured and preserved at the scene.

The evidence was sent to the FBI lab in Quantico, Virginia for evaluation and police are expecting results of that evidence examination to be received soon to assist them in their investigation.

Police need anyone with any information on this case to come forward to assist them. They need information on anyone who might be a suspect, need information on a suspect vehicle and need to determine the reason that this crime happened. Police are concerned that the person who shot Kyle may be a danger to himself or to others and may have exhibited behavioral changes after the murder of Kyle on December 21st, 2012. Police want to identify the suspect as soon as possible before he hurts himself or another.

The suspect in this case may carry a handgun on his person or in his car.

Police are seeing the assistance of the public in solving the murder of Kyle Seidel, a married father of three. Their lives have been altered forever and it is time complete this investigation and solve this crime.
