Michael Skakel returned to court in Stamford today for a motion to suppress tapes from an incriminating interview he did.

Skakel was convicted in the 1975 murder of Martha Moxley, his 15-year-old neighbor in Greenwich, Connecticut, but the decision was overturned and he is awaiting retrial.

The interview in question was for a memoir that was never published. In it Skakel talks about the night before Martha Moxley was killed, saying he was watching her through a window while he sat perched in a tree and that he remembers being “horny.”

The judge didn’t rule on the motion today.

Skakel remains free on bond while he awaits his retrial.

The original case gained a lot of attention because Skakel is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s cousin.
