UPDATE: Police arrested Joshua Lacomb, 26 of New Hartford on charges of evading responsibility in connection with the accident.
Police are searching for the driver after a pedestrian was struck by a car on Simonds Ave. near Canton High School.
The hit-and-run accident happened around 9 p.m.
Lifestar transported the victim to Hartford Hospital. No word yet on the extent of that person’s injuries or their identity.
