A 62-year-old grandfather is running around the United States, despite his own challenges, to try and help his granddaughter.
David Kuhn, who is blind, is running 11,000 miles around the perimeter of the United States to raise money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, which his 11-year-old granddaughter, Kylie, has.
According to Kuhn’s Facebook community page, It’s All I Can Do, he is also raising money for both the Foundation Fighting Blindness and for pediatric cancer research.
On his 75th day, Wednesday, August 13, Kuhn was in Minnesota, and he added 20.16 miles to get a total of 1,380.33 total miles. As of Tuesday, August 19 Kuhn had raised $5,000.
