Firefighters were back on the scene of the old Remington Arms factory in Bridgeport this morning.

The Bridgeport Fire Department received 911 calls around 8 a.m. as people reported smoke coming from the building. Hot spots from Tuesday’s fire had flared up again, according to Deputy Chief Petrocelli.

The Bridgeport fire marshal is still investigating but officials have determined the original fire was arson. There were two points of origin for the fire suggesting it was set.

Crews left the scene around noon.
