Republican candidate Tom Foley is leading incumbent Gov. Dan Malloy in the latest poll.
The Rassmussen Report released Thursday said Foley has 45 percent of the vote wrapped up, while Malloy only has 38 percent. An additional seven percent prefer another candidate, and the last 10 percent are undecided.
There were 750 participants in the survey, all of whom consider themselves likely voters in Connecticut. The survey was done between August 18 and August 19, and there is a margin of error of +/- four percent.
