The Hartford teen who was tasered by a police officer is home from St. Francis Hospital.
As shown in surveillance video obtained by FOX CT, 18-year-old Luis Anglero Jr. was shot with a stun gun on Tuesday by Detective Shawn Ware.
Anglero was charged with breach of peace and interfering with police.
His mother told FOX CT that Anglero was released from the hospital Thursday morning.
She said the family has filed an official complaint against Ware and that she is talking with attorneys.
At an anti-violence forum on Thursday, the director of Hartford's Urban League said that Anglero was part of the youth employment program.
A use of force report detailing the discharge of the Taser was supposed to be made available to the media on Wednesday, and then Thursday morning, according to police, but as of Thursday evening the report had not been made public.
