Clinton Police have arrested two men after a  burglary at a pizzeria early Saturday morning.

Police responded to Bella Maria Pizza at 153 Glenwood Road in Clinton on Saturday after the owner reported a burglary from overnight.

Officers gathered surveillance video from a neighboring business that showed the suspects and their vehicle. Police say the suspects entered the restaurant through a back door and were seen carrying a register and other items into a Blue PT Cruiser.

Police say they used the information obtained in the surveillance video and reviewed records of similar vehicles that had previous incidences with police to locate the suspects.

After a brief search, police arrested 19 year-old Travis Sencenal of Killingworth after he admitted to the burglary in Clinton and another burglary in Madison. Officers then arrested 23-year old Erick Killburn of Madison a short time later. Police say Killburn was arrested by Clinton police in the past and was employed at Bella Maria Pizza in 2012.

Police say the suspects are accused of stealing a cash register with $250  and two bottles of alcohol.

Sencenal and Killburn have been charged with third degree burglary, fourth degree larceny and conspiracy to commit burglary. Sencenal is being held on $10,000 bond and Killburn is being held on $20,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior court on Monday.
