Main Street in Willimantic was closed for several hours Tuesday evening while police investigated a shooting.
A 16-year-old male was shot in his arm but is expected to be okay. The incident happened at 4:05 p.m.
The victim told police he was walking in the alley with three other people. He said a lone gunman appeared and fired several shots but only stuck one victim before running away.
Willimantic Police believe it was an isolated incident and the public is not in danger. They are asking anyone with information to come forward.
