It'll be a classic summer day today. The humidity ticks up a bit, and the temperatures soar into the 80s to around 90 degrees. Mostly sunny skies will give way to a few more afternoon clouds. As a cold front drops down from the north, there's a chance we'll have a few showers and thunderstorms during the late afternoon and into the evening. Our severe thunderstorm chance is not very large, but it's not zero.
Tonight we'll clear the sky out and have lows in the 60s.
Thursday and Friday will bring cooler, more comfortable weather. Afternoon temperatures will stay in the 70s to around 80, even with abundant sunshine. As we go on for the weekend it looks like warmer air gets in here with another chance for showers and thunderstorms by Sunday.
