UPDATE: Bristol Police say they have made an arrest in a bomb threat that was called into Greene-Hills School Wednesday.

A student at the school is charged with Breach of Peace and Threatening.

A police cruiser will be at the school Thursday morning, but no other additional security will be provided, police said. Police say they hope the fast action taken on Wednesday’s scare will send a message that such behavior is not tolerated.

Greene-Hills School has students in grades kindergarten to eighth grade. Students were dismissed 30 minutes early Wednesday.

School officials were notified around 1:30 p.m.

Fire and police responded to the scene.
