An arrest has been made after a man with special needs and disabilities was the victim of larceny and  burglary, according to police.

Angelo Younger, 49, is accused of meeting the victim on July 10 in Fairfield. Between 11:30 a.m. and 1:33 p.m. Younger allegedly took $60 from the victim and cashed three of his checks for a total loss of $2,442.25.

Fairfield Police say that on July 14 Younger sold the victim’s Sacred Heart University class ring for $174 at Joe Davis Pawnbroker, located at 522 Boston Ave. in Bridgeport.

The suspect is a convicted felon with a record dating back to 1989 and spanning both Connecticut and North Carolina. He is currently on probation in Connecticut for a 2011 arrest for stealing cash, checks and personal property from elderly residents at the Sullivan McKinney elderly housing complex, located at 224 Meadowbrook Rd. He had been posing as a home health aid to gain access to the unsuspecting residents.

Younger was arrested today, Sept. 3, and he is charged with larceny in the second degree, burglary in the second degree, stalking in the third degree, harassment in the second degree and disorderly conduct. He is being held on $50,000.
