Make-A-Wish in Connecticut reached a special milestone at Rentschler Field on Sunday.
The Wishes on Wheels program celebrated 15 years and $1 million in fundraising at a special convoy in East Hartford.
"Make a wish is completely privately funded, so it's evnts like this that keep us going every year," said Michael Dominick of the Connecticut chapter of Make-A-Wish.
On average each wish costs more than $10,000, according to the organization. So far this year the chapter has make 184 wishes come true.
