This Saturday, Sept. 27, is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, an event sponsored by the Office of Diversion Control, a joint effort between the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Department of Justice.

The Milford Police Department says it collected 198 pounds of unwanted prescription drugs during the Take-Back Day event at the Milford Senior Center at 9 Jepsen Drive.
